Stonemasonry

The Level 2 Diploma in Stonemasonry is the starting point for your training in stonemasonry. Based primarily in the workshop you will learn about the key principles of working stone and producing architectural mouldings such as the ovolo and cavetto, a range of surface finishes and finished stone components such as a detailed window cill.

The Level 3 Diploma in Stonemasonry builds on prior learning in Level 2. The Stonemasonry Apprenticeship was re-launched for national delivery in June 2021. Covering key skills areas set out by industry, it comprises 8 core modules and 2 specialist modules in one of the following: Exterior Fixer, Banker or Heritage stonemasonry.
