Historic Buildings Parks & Gardens event 2024

We returned to the Historic Buildings Parks & Gardens event 2024 at the QE2 Centre in Westminster in November. Two of our makers gave practical demonstrations on stone carving and woodwork. Stonemasonry Maker Max Higgins demonstrated stone carving techniques on a Portland stone Tudor rose with traditional tools and techniques Our Fine Furniture Maker Piers Shorrock gave a demonstration and talk on how to cut dovetails using traditional techniques and tools such as a marking gauge and dovetail saw.
