Short Course- An Introduction To Plastering – February 2025

Introduction to Plastering is a taster course Evening Class for complete beginners who want to learn the basics for small projects at home.

 You will learn the following:
  • Cut and fix plasterboard, apply a skim coat of plaster
  • Advance to laying several coats of plaster and finish to a smooth finish
  • Deal with damaged areas
  • Basic block wall rendering
This course is ideal for hobbyists who have their own projects to work on but would be suitable for workers in the trade who want to upskill.

  • For currently enrolled BCC students (on a study programme or apprenticeship) a 25% discount will be applied on the fees for a short course taken in the same academic year that they are enrolled
  • For any currently enrolled short course student who wants to enrol on a full or part time study programme (19+) in the subsequent academic year we offer a 50% fee rebate on the cost of their short course.
  • For any BCC alumni of study programme or apprenticeship they can get a 20% discount on the short course fee.

Discounts can only be redeemed when applying directly via the college, any short course purchased on Eventbrite is not eligible for discounts.
